What words of advice do you have for the younger students at Hume R-VIII? Don’t compare yourself to your fellow students. Focus on yourself and do not try to be better or worse than anyone. Some people are going to be smarter than you, and they are going to want to make you feel bad about that. Do not listen to them. Keep focused and remember that you are a great student and you will accomplish everything you want in life. Also, be nice to the teachers, they are there for you. They put in so much work for us kids, so we should do the same for them. They spend their days listening to us complain and goof off in class and they still push us to succeed. Our teachers do not get enough appreciation. To all of the teachers who have pushed me to my limits and kept on me about assignments and due dates, thank you. You do not realize the impact you have on us kids. Thank you for always believing in me.
