4th & 5th Grade

Welcome back! We are settling in nicely and getting back into the swing of things in both 4th and 5th grade.

In grammar, students have been working on pronouns and practicing their use in sentences. In math, we are reviewing long division to strengthen problem-solving skills and build confidence with multi-step problems. We have also been practicing cursive writing, and students will soon begin reading and writing full sentences in cursive.

In reading, we continue to focus on a variety of reading skills and strategies as we work toward our Accelerated Reader (AR) goals. Students are encouraged to read regularly and challenge themselves as readers.
