Explore Fly-Out Programs for College Visits
Attention parents of 9th–11th graders! Check out this amazing opportunity for your students to visit out-of-state colleges through fly-out programs they can earn. These experiences allow students to explore campuses, meet faculty, and envision their future.

Congratulations to Lola Wriston and Jasmine Pattison on being accepted into the Upward Bound Program! They received over 57 applicants competing for just 30 spots in our region.
Hume has two other active Upward Bound participants, Karys Crawford and Sadie Davis who both enjoy the program.
Upward Bound is a great opportunity to prepare for college success. It will open doors for academic growth, leadership development, and personal exploration as they will have opportunities to create classes based on their interest
Students attended a Criminal Justice event at the University of Central Missouri!
Students met employers in the field, participated in a mock crime scene investigation, and learned about career opportunities from UCM professors. One student also has an individual meeting with the business department.
What made the trip even more inspiring? Running into two alumni, Samantha Davidson and Abby Harris, who are working hard toward their goals! Highlight post later this week on the alumni we have spotted this year during a trip!
When students see alumni turning dreams into reality, it makes their own aspirations feel that much closer.
