I am not complaining but Christmas Break was a little long and I enjoyed my coffee and reading a

little too much! It was tough coming back, but we are in full swing now and January is already over. The

Foods classes are learning about different fruits and cuts of pork. The pork council provides money for all

my students in a foods class to learn to cook pork. This is very much appreciated. Child Development

will continue to visit and work with preschool. This semester, they will be helping on Monday and

Fridays. The 8th

grade created their own heart pattern and have almost completed a pillow. The Foods and

Health class is learning the systems of the body and every Friday we talk about current health topics in the

news. The dual credit class this semester is Curriculum for early childhood. They have learned about

crossing the midline learning and observed the kindergarten class with the activities. Enjoy the rest of winter!
